People on the North Sea island of Terschelling have been "jutting" on the beach since they were children.
Jutting is the search for washed-up things that are still usable. Dane is only eleven, but just like the older ones, he gets restless as soon as the wind picks up in autumn or spring. He knows that the chances of finding something special on the beach are best after a storm and becomes a treasure hunter.
