Indigenous people on Mentawai, a small archipelago south of Sumatra in Indonesia, are fighting to preserve the rainforest with its rich endemic fauna and flora and their indigenous culture.
After a hundred years of persecution, a grassroots movement has formed in recent years to preserve their heritage.
