Rhinos – with Heart and Horn immerses us in the life of a small family of rhinos. However, this seemingly perfect world in which they live has to be protected by rangers. Poachers are still targeting the horns of these powerful-looking animals. The unbelievably intimate camera work consistently makes us feel like part of the group. When Malaika has a baby and Elias has to make room for his little brother, there are emotional moments that we can almost feel, thanks to the sensitive camera work. The team has succeeded in showing a very vulnerable side of the rhinos. A film that captivates young and old alike and inspires our fascination for these special animals.
