The film is at home in a world in which the script of events never seems to come to an end. In which one story weaves into the next. In which the camera does not know in the morning what surprises and never-before-filmed things it will discover in the next 24 hours. The camera grows into the living space of its protagonists over a long filming period, is there, close, at eye level, or below or far above, and is ignored by the protagonists. In this way, new, spectacular, beautiful and dramatic shots are created on a continent where you might think you have already seen all the stories.
