When NaturVision was founded in the Bavarian Forest in 2002, a partner festival was established in Vimperk in the Czech Republic. To this day, a small Best Of event has been organised under the direction of project manager Roman Hajník, which takes place every year in September.

A special feature: Czech schoolchildren produce translations of the films. The documentaries are then shown to other classes and synchronised. After the Film Days, the translations are made available to the filmmakers free of charge.

The next Best Of event in Vimperk will take place from 16th - 23rd September 2023.
