It was not easy for us to decide who should win the award. We went back and forth between two films.
The film Checker Tobi und die Reise zu den fliegenden Flüssen [Checker Tobi and the journey to the flying rivers] tells an exciting story that is also very funny. It was great to accompany Tobi on his journey around the world with his friend Marina and to see how different the landscapes and animals are. Tobi also showed us what influence we humans have on nature and climate change. This taught us to appreciate the nature around us more.
