Keepers Of The Kelp Forest

A forest under water, unique, strange and mysterious, full of life and yet under threat. Presented in an impressive documentary that introduces us to people who have dedicated themselves to saving one of the most unusual biotopes on the planet. They are the Keepers Of The Kelp Forest. The Giant Giant Kelp Restoration Project on the coast of California is fighting against the spread of sea urchins, which are threatening the forest because they are multiplying unnaturally in times of climate change. It is quite possible that the images in the film are the last of this ecosystem, as the rescue project has unfortunately been discontinued in the meantime.
