Rebekka Kaijörd has composed a sensitive, authentic score for the film Songs of Earth. The music picks up on the rugged nature of Norway, beyond all the usual musical templates, while always remaining genuine.

The use of free and expressive agogics and differentiated articulations of the individual instruments is convincing and opens up a separate level of content for the film, which is artfully combined with the visual language.

The film manages to combine folkloristic elements and an ingenious, equally award-worthy sound design to create a total work of art.
