Feline Gerhardt
Feline Gerhardt works as a freelance director and camerawoman in the field of documentaries and commercials. Her film work includes "Beyond the Summits" (Filmakademie), "Stranded in Northern Cyprus" (ARTE) and "Departure to Belarus" (ARTE).
Feline Gerhardt is a graduate of the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy and for her projects she prefers to work in nature and in the cold north.
Martin Schneider
As head of the SWR editorial department for science documentaries and magazines (2018-2023), Martin Schneider was responsible for a large number of productions. Last year, Jörg Wolf's "Cashing in on the Forest" was honoured by his editorial team. As a freelance science journalist and television editor, the biology and German studies graduate has worked for SWR since 1999 and chaired the Association of German Science Journalists (WPK).
Axel Weiss
Axel Weiß is a biologist, author and editor in the Economy and Environment department at Südwestrundfunk. Nature and environmental issues have been his professional focus for many years. He currently works a lot for the ARD Climate Competence Centre and is in charge of "Klimazeit", a weekly in-depth television programme about the climate crisis and climate protection.
Martha Fränkel
Martha Fränkel is an author and creative producer for film and new media. She has been developing new formats in the XR field since 2019 and has been a jury member of the XR Science Awards since 2023.
She is a graduate of the Filmakademie Ludwigsburg with a specialisation in educational and science film and has realised film projects as a director and author in science communication and for ZDF, arte. Her diploma film "Kräuterdetektive" (2016) was a transmedia concept for a children's series about wild herbs.
Sebastian Weimann
Director and producer Sebastian Weimann was represented in the NaturVision programme with "Plastic-Free City - The Search for a Feasible Utopia". Sebastian Weimann has been working as a media educator since 2003 and realises documentaries, advertising films and interactive projects as a filmmaker. He is the initiator of the One Horizon Refugee Film Festival. Sebastian Weimann studied communication, media design and film production.
Anne Harder
Studied geosciences in Würzburg and La Réunion. During his studies, he worked at the International Film Weekend in Würzburg and curated the short film programme. After graduating, several years of groundwater monitoring, ground surveys and soil sampling. 2015-2016 in the NaturVision organisation team, then founded/reopened the now award-winning New Maxim Cinema in Munich with a strong focus on sustainability. Has a yodelling diploma, drinks green tea with milk and is trying (!) to learn Finnish.
