Juni 2025 eine kurze Beschreibung an festival@natur-vision.org. Der Text sollte eine DIN A4-Seite nicht überschreiten. Inhalt sollte sein: Kurze Synopsis, Directors/Producers Intention, Format- und Budgetvorstellungen. Hier eine Vorlage zum Download.

Filmmakers have the option to present their new project to experts/producers/editors. Ivo Filatsch

Als Senior Producer der Terra Mater Factual Studios, Wien liegt Ivos Schwerpunkt auf der Produktion qualitativ hochwertiger Dokumenationen über naturkundliche, wissenschaftliche und geschichtliche Themen für den internationalen Markt. Ivo ist außerdem für die Terra Mater-Reihe auf Servus TV tätig. Bevor er 2026 zu Terra Mater Factual Studios wechselte, war Ivo seit 1992 Redakteur, Autor und Regisseur in der Wissenschaftsabteilung des ORF tätig.

As Senior Producer of Terra Mater Factual Studios, Vienna, Ivo's focus is on producing high-quality documentaries on natural history, science, and historical topics for the international market. Ivo is also involved in the Terra Mater series on Servus TV. Before joining Terra Mater Factual Studios in 2026, Ivo had been an editor, author, and director in the science department of ORF since 1992.

Andreas Martin

Andreas Martin, studierte Film- und Fernsehregie in Hamburg und absolvierte anschließend eine journalistische Ausbildung bei der Studio Hamburg Gruppe. Danach arbeitete er als Produzent und Regisseur für verschiedene Produktionsfirmen, wo er innovative und preisgekrönte Wissenschaftsformate wie Homo Digitalis und Helena. die künstliche Intelligenz entwickelte und realisierte. Heute leitet er die Produktionsabteilung der Autentic GmbH. Er produziert Dokumentationen und Formate für den deutschen und internationalen Markt in den Bereichen Wissenschaft, Geschichte, Reise und Zeitgeschehen.

Andreas Martin studied film and television direction in Hamburg and then completed a journalistic training with the Studio Hamburg Group. He then worked as a producer and director for various production companies, where he developed and realized innovative and award-winning science formats such as Homo Digitalis and Helena. Simon Riedel

Als studierter Biologe arbeitet Simon Riedel seit 2026 in verschiedenen Funktionen in Film und Medien u.a. als Redakteur bei "Galileo - das ProSieben Wissensmagazin". Seit 2014 ist er in Hamburg bei Doclights GmbH / NDR Naturfilm tätig, erst als Junior Producer und seit 2016 als Producer und Executive Producer u.a. für Expeditionen ins Tierreich.

As a trained biologist, Simon Riedel has been working in various roles in film and media since 2026, including as an editor at "Galileo - the ProSieben science magazine." Since 2014, he has been employed in Hamburg at Doclights GmbH / NDR Nature Film, initially as a Junior Producer and since 2016 as a Producer and Executive Producer, among other things for expeditions into the animal kingdom.

Mariette Rissenbeek

Die Produzentin und Medienmanagerin Mariette Rissenbeek leitete von 2019 bis 2024 als Geschäftsführerin die Internationalen Filmfestspiele in Berlin und ist seit 2025 als freie Filmproduzentin und Jurymitglied tätig. Nach fast zehnjähriger Tätigkeit bei Tobis Filmverleih in Berlin wechselte Mariette 1995 in die Filmproduktion, bevor sie 2003 bei German Films, der Auslandsvertretung des deutschen Films, die Öffentlichkeits- und Festivalarbeit und im Anschluss die Geschäftsführung übernahm.

The producer and media manager Mariette Rissenbeek served as the managing director of the International Film Festival in Berlin from 2019 to 2024 and has been working as a freelance film producer and jury member since 2025. After nearly ten years at Tobis Film Distribution in Berlin, Mariette moved to film production in 1995, before taking over public relations and festival work and subsequently the management at German Films, the foreign representation of German cinema, in 2003.

Valentin Thurn

Der Produzent und Regisseur Valentin Thurn wurde international bekannt mit „Taste the Waste – die globale Lebensmittelverschwendung“ und „10 Milliarden – Wie werden wir alle satt?“ Beide Kino-Dokumentarfilme waren Publikums-Renner und gewannen zahlreiche Preise im In- und Ausland. Parallel dazu erschienen die Bücher „Die Essensvernichter“ (Spiegel-Bestseller) und „Harte Kost“.
Mit seiner Produktionsfirma ThurnFilm GmbH realisierte er in den letzten 20 Jahren über 60 Dokumentationen, vor allem für ARD, ZDF und ARTE, sowie einige internationale Koproduktionen.

The producer and director Valentin Thurn gained international recognition with "Taste the Waste – Global Food Waste" and "10 Billion – How Will We All Be Fed?" Both documentary films were audience hits and won numerous awards both domestically and internationally. At the same time, the books "The Food Destroyers" (Spiegel bestseller) and "Hard Fare" were published. With his production company ThurnFilm GmbH, he has produced over 60 documentaries in the last 20 years, primarily for ARD, ZDF, and ARTE, as well as some international co-productions.

Beatrix Wesle

Als Produzentin und Medienmanagerin leitete Beatrix Wesle von 2004 bis 2016 als Geschäftsführerin die Belange der Produktions- und Vertriebsfirma Menemsha European Films GmbH, Atrix Films GmbH und war Associate bei der auf Animationsfilm spezialisierte Medienfirma Sola Media GmbH, bevor Sie zu SRF Schweizer Fernsehen wechselte. Als Dokumentarfilm- und Finanzierungsspezialistin begleitete sie eine Vielzahl von nationalen und internationalen Produktionen. Seit 2023 ist sie Geschäfsführerin der NaturVision Ludwigsburg gGmbH.

Ab 18 Uhr startet die Preisverleihung mit einem Sektempfang am Kino und ab 19 Uhr führt uns Dana Hoffmann zur Abendstunde durch die Verleihung. Wir drücken allen Nominierten die Daumen und freuen uns auf einen wunderschönen Abend!

Im Anschluss an die Zeremonie erwartet Sie ein lockeres Beisammensein mit Getränken und feinen Leckereien vor und im Staatsarchiv.

At 6 PM, the award ceremony will start with a champagne reception at the cinema, and from 7 PM, Dana Hoffmann will guide us through the evening's awards. Das Staatsarchiv wird zur Industry Corner am Festivalsamstag.

Arsenalplatz Quarter: As part of the redesign of Arsenalplatz, the NaturVision Film Festival offers you a relaxed atmosphere with the "Café Kleiner Prinz" on Arsenalplatz as well as at the nearby café restaurant "Cup and Bowl" on Wilhelmstrasse. The State Archive will be the Industry Corner on Festival Saturday.
